You do not yet hold your 35 contact hours

PMI requires 35 hours of project management education as a condition of exam eligibility. This cohort does not award them. Your 35 hours must be in place before you apply. If you still need them, complete a qualifying programme first.

You are targeting the exam after July 9, 2026

Every session in this cohort is built around the PMBOK 7 format and the current ECO. After July 9, the exam structure changes. This programme will not prepare you for PMBOK 8. If your exam date is beyond that cut-off, wait for a cohort built for the new format.

You cannot commit to engaging with each session within 48 hours

Will this course give me the 35 PDUs required for PMP exam eligibility?

PMP PowerPrep Live is an exam preparation cohort, not a PDU-awarding programme. Ideally, you should have your 35 contact hours of project management education already in place — or actively in progress — before you join.

If you still need your 35 PDUs, they can be earned through Ray's Udemy PMP courses, access to which is included within your cohort price. Ray's Udemy course is structured to meet PMI's 35-hour education requirement. Please verify the current PMI eligibility criteria directly on pmi.org before you submit your application.

What is the refund policy?

PMP PowerPrep Live operates a Session 1 Satisfaction Guarantee — the same policy applied across Ray's personalised coaching programmes.

Full refund if you request it in writing within 7 days of Session 1, provided you attended Session 1.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to Ray directly via pmpwithray.com.

No refunds are issued after this window closes.

What if I miss a live session — can I catch up?

All 8 sessions are fully recorded and replay access is included for every enrolled student. If you miss a live session, you can and should catch up via the recording.

However, the cohort is progressive — each session builds on the previous one. We recommend engaging with every recording within 48 hours of the live session to stay in step with the cohort's pace. Falling two or more sessions behind significantly reduces the programme's effectiveness for your exam readiness.

Do I need my PMI application approved before I can join?

You do not need full PMI approval to join the waitlist or to begin the cohort. However, you should have your 35 contact hours in place and be actively progressing through your PMI application.

Given the cohort runs June 5 – July 3 and the exam format changes on July 9, you will need your exam scheduled and sat within that window. If your PMI application is still in early stages, that timeline may be very tight — this is worth discussing honestly with Ray during the qualifying questions stage before payment is taken.

What exam format does this cohort prepare me for?

This cohort is built entirely around the current PMBOK 7 format and the existing ECO (Examination Content Outline) — the structure in place before July 9, 2026.

On July 9, 2026, PMI introduces PMBOK 8 and a revised ECO. This cohort does not cover PMBOK 8 content and will not prepare you for the post-July 9 exam structure. If your exam date falls after July 9, this programme is not the right fit — Section 8 of this page covers this in full.
